Only a small, 1.2 mile section of the Wednesbury Canal is navigable today. The canal runs from the Pudding Basin Junction on the New Main Line Canal to Swan Bridge. Travel beyond this point has been prevented by the construction of a road bridge which leaves insufficient headroom for a boat to pass underneath.
