The Titford Canal is a short branch of the Birmingham Canal Navigations or BCN. The canal was completed in 1837 and opened in November of that year.
The canal rises through 6 locks to the highest point on the BCN. At the top of the locks there is a junction with Tat Bank Branch. The canal continues on until it reaches the reservoir called The Titford Pools.
